NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN of a casual vacancy in the office of councillor in Abersoch ward on Cyngor Cymuned Llanengan.
An election will be held to fill the vacancy if a request in writing for an election which includes the signatures of ten electors of the said ward is sent to: The Returning Officer, Gwynedd Council, Council Offices, Caernarfon, Gwynedd LL55 1SH within the period ending at 12 noon on Friday,
4 December, 2020.

There are 13 councillors on the Council representing Aber-soch, Llanengan (Bwlchtocyn, Cilan, Llanengan and Sarn Bach) and Llangïan (Llangïan and Mynytho) Wards. The Council is responsible for maintaining 65km off public footpaths, Aber-soch and Mynytho Playing Fields, Bwlch Cemetery Extension, Lôn Traeth Public Toilets. Agriculture and tourism is the mainstay of the local economy, which is part of the Llŷn Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) and Pen Llŷn a’r Sarnau Special Area of Conservation (SAC).
